PROJECT:

Chapters iOS app.
Chapters was a natural evolution of our Wishlife Vault. The original Vault was designed to be a container for a stack of videos. It wasn't designed to store multiple media types and wasn't built to display media in a beautiful way (not to say that the UI wasn't pretty, rather that the Vault itself was intended to be more of a backend construct than a front-end presentation layer.)

After gathering a lot of feedback it was becoming clear that something needed to change. Some of the key points we began to hear were:

- Desire to share collections of content
- Desire to view more than one piece of content at a time.
- Desire to add context to a particular piece of content.
- Requests to add permission based sharing functionality
- Support for multiple media types (add text, photos and files)
- Enhanced visuals to support multiple media types

Now, with a high level idea of users were asking for, I started researching other products which may provide the solutions we were looking for. After a lot of research and some product feature abstraction thought experiments, I started sketching what would become Chapters.

After wireframes and prototypes, I went on to create detailed style tiles with information as to font sizes, icon sizes, colors, scaling ratios...etc. as well as creating detailed animations which give team members an excellent reference for animation and motion key-framing.
